Susan goes Ecuador: going for a walk with the wolves

on friday, we went for a walk inside the plantation. the intention was to watch the cows from the finca, as the kids at the moment are learning about domestic animals. on the way, we passed our alpacas that were between the green houses.

that's where the water comes from to give the roses to drink :-)

at the finca, we saw these horses...

...so we took pictures wih them! these is the group of the wolves with their main teacher, tia alex. she's also the boss of the whole kindergarten.

in this pretty house live the owners of the whole sierra flor project.

we passed a capuli-tree and the kids wanted to eat the fruits, so tia alex had to pick them. capuli is a little bit smaller than a cherry and of the same colour. i don't know why it's so popular here, i don't like it at all :-) but it's tipical for the cotopaxi region.

after a while, we took a break to have the midmorning yogurt. here, yogurt is to drink. always.

the kids got roses, that's nury.

with the prettiest rose, they wanted to take pictures. here's melani and alisson. they're making the sign for "whisky", that's sort of the latin "cheese".

back at school, the little ones asked me what my camera was. so i showed them: "look, you can take pictures and then watch yourself". that's my big love johnny :-)
