 that was my spanish school in quito for one month (http://www.ecuadorspanish.com/services/additional.html). in the same building is also the foundation (http://www.ecuadorvolunteer.org/)that organized my volunteer time after school.

 one day, we went to a swiss restaurant for lunch. this is "rösti caprese".

 may i present you our students: first, is gigas and harukis teacher silvana. then, haruki with electric shock in his hair. next to him am i, with my dress and high heels. then comes giga who looses the way (one night, he took 3 taxis and had 2 hours to get home. it would have been a walk of 15minutes..) and last but not least, there is markus eating guinea pig (his second-last day, he didn't come to school. with his teacher, he went to a place far away to eat cuy)!

 another day, we went to a great mexican restaurant near plaza foch (called taco factory or something like that). we didn't only go in because of this cool "mariachi" outside :-)

 in school, we're always serious.

 that's our colibri at school who comes every day. i like him a lot, because when he's there, i can have a break to take pictures :-)

my first vegetarian hamburger in quito! in a vegetarian restaurant. we went there twice after markus got this recommendation (and all the others aren't veggies, so believe me: it's delicious!)

my second vegetarian hamburger, even more awesome! but after that one, i got ill. i don't want to go back there -.-

 don't ask me why, but in the garden of school, there is a golden toilet with flowers inside.
