my "little rabbits"

my lovely fernanda sleeping
and my secret boyfriend johnny :-)
 sofia my princess
a few hours later, playing outside (well, here: inside the play-house outside): nayra and sofia
 johnny, marlon and mathias
maickel. one of the few seconds in a day when he's not mad (he tells everyone with his so angry face: "I'M ANGRY WITH YOU")
sofia playing with the tire-swing
once again: maickel isn't mad!! probably because of his girlfriend agustina (called agus)
yeah, the two playing family in their house.
my pretty girl on the swing.
she just lost her hat :-)
johnny telling mateo and nayra: look, photo!!
mathi and marlon, friends for life :-)
 cute mathi
mateo in the big swing. he's the baby of the group, so he's happy just to sit in there and watch the others doing crazy stuff :-)
johhny, the love of my life (even with his dirty nose)
nayra. when she's up there, she's always "giving me food" like banana, rice, fruit juice, soup, potato and chocolate (at least one thing we don't eat every day)

pujili

on sunday, we went to pujili. it's a town 15 minutes away from latacunga (by bus), and on sundays, there is always a big indigenous market. after walking through it without taking pictures (as i was ashamed of giving the people the feeling that they're zoo animals), we went up the coloured stairs to enjoy the view.
 dogs everywhere :-)
 strange paintings on these stairs
next to the stairs, a cow having lunch.
efren flying over pujili
the view over pujili. the big white round is the market we have been. the blue thing on the right behind, is a clothes market.
i think he's quite stunned by the view :-)
...be sure to wear flowers in your hair...
efren and me
going down again, as we were hungry.
heart-shaped cactus on the way, how cute!
some really old street in pujili.
in front of the market.
lobster/crab or whatever hanging around in soup. we didn't eat there though.
a lot of fruit!
a huge part of the market was the "food court".
i was taught that you nibble these already fried pig heads just like that, or you cut them and eat them with rice. buen provecho then!!
church that looks like a cave.
the main church of pujili actually more looks like a castle!
central park of the town. very similar to the one in latacunga!
before going back, a stroll through the streets of pujili.

party in sierra flor

on friday, we had a double-birthday party. merche's was on that exact day, and mariana's was to come on tuesday. we cooked togheter (well, we helped with the last few steps after almost everything was prepared.) here, yasser is doing delicious banana-chips as apero.
crazy latins dancing before the party even begun :-)
swinging back in the hammock was almost more frightening than climbing down waterfalls.
preparing another apero: croquetas, so amazing!!
yarlon doing the main dish: carrot-rice with home made mayonnaise and chicken.
efren frying the croquetas
i love marianas hair when she's dancing :-)
DJ-couple yenely and yasser
DJane Erika
birthday girl merche with her "arroz imperial"
playing the balloon-game. ivy in action!
when you dropped the balloon, the punishment was dancing with the broom.
 limbo underneath the hammock
dancing ballet as the DJ was playing strange music :-)
delicious cake, made without oven (our two poor houses don't have one.)
