on sunday, we went to pujili. it's a town 15 minutes away from latacunga (by bus), and on sundays, there is always a big indigenous market. after walking through it without taking pictures (as i was ashamed of giving the people the feeling that they're zoo animals), we went up the coloured stairs to enjoy the view.
dogs everywhere :-)
strange paintings on these stairs
next to the stairs, a cow having lunch.
efren flying over pujili
the view over pujili. the big white round is the market we have been. the blue thing on the right behind, is a clothes market.
i think he's quite stunned by the view :-)
...be sure to wear flowers in your hair...
efren and me
going down again, as we were hungry.
heart-shaped cactus on the way, how cute!
some really old street in pujili.
in front of the market.
lobster/crab or whatever hanging around in soup. we didn't eat there though.
a lot of fruit!
a huge part of the market was the "food court".
i was taught that you nibble these already fried pig heads just like that, or you cut them and eat them with rice. buen provecho then!!
church that looks like a cave.
the main church of pujili actually more looks like a castle!
before going back, a stroll through the streets of pujili.
ich versuech mich no immer mit dim pircing azfründe.. ;)
